What we aim for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines at level AA. People with back pain aren't always sitting comfortably at a desk, so the pages are also meant to be easy to read on a phone, in bed or in a waiting room.
There are no pop-ups, no auto-playing video and no messages that disappear on a timer.
How the site is built
- Body text uses Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface drawn for readability.
- Text and background colors are checked for contrast every time the site is built.
- Every page works with a keyboard, with visible focus outlines and a skip-to-content link.
- Headings follow a logical order, and icons are hidden from screen readers when a text label is already present.
Screens, zoom and devices
Pages reflow to fit small screens without sideways scrolling, and text can be enlarged with your browser's zoom. The site is designed to work in current versions of the major browsers on phones, tablets and computers.
Known limits
The scheduling form is provided by an outside service, HighLevel, and its accessibility isn't fully under the clinic's control. If the form gives you any trouble, call (801) 590-8615 instead.
Report a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, tell Mecham Chiropractic at info@mechamchiro.com or (801) 590-8615. Describe the page and what went wrong, and it will be looked at.
